Found Stargate while searching the web for used vehicles, and after a lot of searching and comparing on Carfax, I found that all of the vehicles I was interested in were at their lot. I'd never bought from a dealership before- before I'd just paid cash for vehicles from friends- so I was nervous and on guard and not sure what to expect. But, I went with a specific vehicle in mind after a fair amount of research of what I was looking for, and Isaac gave us time to look the vehicle over and check it all out from stem to stern. Not once did I feel pressured or that things were moving too fast or that I didn't have space to ask questions, and I'm grateful to have had my friend with me, who was familiar with vehicle sales, to explain the different stages of the process. I got financed through a credit union I'd worked with before, and I drove my new vehicle off the lot less than a day later. I always prefer to support a local business, and this business treated me well and seems to keep quality vehicles in stock. I'm pleased with my purchase so far and the process was only mildly nerve-wracking- but I attribute that to it being my first time buying from a dealer. I would buy from them again.p.s. I was specifically looking for a Not Huge vehicle that was historically reliable, wasn't overdone with fancy bells and whistles, but also had the capacity to fit my big spinning wheel. I'm happy to say it fits my big, 4ft diameter wheel.

Found the perfect truck for me here. The people here were great and weren't pushy, they offered help and was ready to answer any questions. I have worked at a couple big name dealerships and have seen some shady things done but it definitely doesn't seem like this place does things like that. I will recommend this place over and over to people needing a good priced used vehicle. Thanks guys for my new to me 17 Frontier !!

Update: Stargate reached out apologetically and wanted to make things right. Miranda explained that the reason they were only able to offer 18% APR was due to there being limited banks open at the time we were doing business. While it still didn't work out to be the best option this time, I would be willing to give Stargate a second chance in the future.--Drove 3+ hrs one way with the intent of buying; left without a new-to-me vehicle feeling disrespected. They got some things right, but the most important part of the car buying experience was poorly handled. I hope they improve, but I can't say I'll be back.Pros: only check credit through one institution at a time; not overly pushy; provided a decent test-drive routeCons: only offered an 18% interest rate with $1000 down when both I and my cosigner have very good to excellent credit scores (other dealers have recently offered me <8% w/o a cosigner on a newer, similarly priced suv); unwilling to budge on price at all when there should've been room to do so; $599 doc fee; won't take trade-ins on certain makes.

Bought this 2016 Civic and I have to say it was my most enjoyable encounter with buying a car. Friendly. Relaxing environment. They had a mechanic that actually cared. Car runs great!
